McKinney’s 4th annual city-wide initiative for National Back to Church Sunday/Harvest Fest 2017
The city of McKinney Churches have organized McKinney’s 2nd annual city-wide initiative for “National Back to Church Sunday” which will be held September 13, 2014. In 2013, over 20,000 churches, nationwide and Canada, participated with over 7.5 million personal invitations to church. These invitations were given to friends, family, neighbors and coworkers, all with one consistent message, “Come Discover or Re-Discover Church, Regardless of Denomination”. This was the largest single outreach event in the nation. For 2014, this is being held at the city level right here in McKinney, benefiting our community. This city-wide initiative will be inclusive of all churches wanting to participate and many have begun to respond with their desire to participate. There will be a pre-event rally on September 13, 2014 at Bonnie Wenk Park from 2pm -7pm, in preparation for the actual Back to Church Sunday on September 14, 2014. This is a free event open to everyone. There will be live music from several bands, refreshments such as hot dogs, chips, drinks, etc. Churches from all over McKinney will be there to provide information about their church and free bibles.

After much prayer and seeking God for direction I am pleased to announce we will be hosting the 4th annual city-wide initiative for National Back To Church/HarvestFest 2017. We are seeking volunteers to help us reach the masses. After much deliberation not having this evangelism event is NOT an option. Our Nation needs UNITY. Please message me if you would be interested in serving on a committee to reap the Harvest. We are seeking churches, non-profit organizations, mental health professional youth groups, local artists, and Christian businesses to make this event a success. The date is scheduled for September 9th - Bonnie Wenk Park Time: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We are also seeking sponsorship from local businesses, churches and private donors. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Matthew 9:37 http://backtochurch.com/
